It has been another busy festival week for the team in Newport.
Well the countdown to The Ryder Cup is now well and truly on and there is less than four months until the start of one of the world's greatest sporting tournaments.
Europe's Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie will visit Newport on Tuesday (June 1) and I am looking forward to welcoming him to our city.
I have just heard that the SuperDragons den in the city centre is extremely popular with more than 500 visitors calling in on a Saturday.
The Ryder Cup is now five months away and I have been asked on numerous occasions by residents 'how is The Ryder Cup going to affect me?'
As the summer approaches there is a warmer feel to the air and the lighter mornings and evenings tend to make us feel good.
For the past two weeks I've been busy behind the scenes preparing for up-and-coming Festival events.
This week is an important week for the SuperDragons project and on Friday I will be attending the opening of the SuperDragons den in the former £1-Only and Officers Club clothing shop in Upper Dock Street.
I've just heard more than 150 SuperDragon design entries have been received.
I attended The Ryder Cup themed curriculum launch earlier in the week and was very impressed with what I saw.
Newport Festival is going to be bigger and better than ever in 2010, so we are giving you access all of the latest inside information.
