Aneurin Bevan Health Board
Aneurin Bevan Health Board was formed on 1 October 2009 by the merger of the Blaenau, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen local health boards and Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust.
The Health Board employs over 16,000 staff with more than 250 consultants in a total of over 1000 hospital and general practice doctors, 6,000 nurses, midwives, allied professionals and community workers.
The Health Board is led by Chairman David Jenkins OBE, Vice Chair Sue Kent and Chief Executive Dr Andrew Goodall, working with non-executive and executive directors.
